Small Caps Were Higher And Big Caps Were Lower, Ending A Good Month and Quarter For Stocks.

Nothing happened on Friday that changed the situation we had coming into the day. The previous five post WILL guide you to where we are currently. The action on Friday was just not interesting and worth going over.

I enjoyed the island, this weekend. Hey, I live here! I gotta take some time off to enjoy the natural beauty this place I call home has to offer. It was a nice weekend. I hope yours was as enjoyable. I will be answering all question and comments here and at Investors Paradise.

Sorry, market. You know what has been going on. I took some time off to have some fun. But I am back at the laptop and ready to go.
........................................

IPAS fails because the very long cup with handle because accumulation was lower on the right side of the base than the distribution was on the left, the chart is extremely choppy. However, that is about it. The fundamentals are quite sound and the chart is OK. However, there are way too many better looking stocks that have a lot less red on the screen. If you have TCNet you can see BOP is not very strong and there is plenty of red in that. The other charts simple have more green.

Thank you for your great comment! It is beyond appreciated.

Take care

Josh,

Giving you a hard time...Glad you were able to enjoy the best of Maui. I enjoyed mid-70's weather...finally! But now its back to reality...50's!

Thank you Market. Sorry to hear that the weather dropped.

BOP is Balance Of Power in TCNet. A propreitary indicator.

How does IBD not count today as a distribution day, considering it started so well and ended so poorly? According to O'Neill this qualifies, doesn't it?? Thanks.

Nope. We were not even down .2%. Can not possibly be one. Normal pullback, just on slightly higher volume.

Lets put this in perspective: was the NYSE up today? Yes. Was today's rise in volume higher than the breakout day on the Nasdaq? No. Was the index down .5%? No. All of this tells us we did not have a distribution day.

I hope this helps, Aloha!
