I have read O'Neill's book on shorting stocks and have tried to take some of his ideas into practice. It looks to me like PHM, KBH, and DHI are all setting up in his "a few moves back over the 50 day" concept - I was wondering what you think and if I am on target here. Thanks for your help. I enjoy your blog and continue to learn a lot.

You are on target. If these stocks do rollover they could produce a nice 10% to 20% short profits.

Good eye, but remember the BIG money is being made in longs right now. It is not prudent to short stocks when the market is this strong. You just arent going to make the same ammount of money you will on the long side.

When the market enters a real downtrend, there will be plenty of time to short stocks. When we have a market that looks like 2002 again, then I will focus on shorting. Until then stay long and VERY STRONG.

What do you think of MDRK? I have asked Cramer and you know how that went. Thanks

Sorry, I meant " MDRX".

MDRX meets none of my criteria for a long on a technical basis.
